Scripps promotes Detroit station sales leader to VP and general manager of KTNV in Las Vegas

Scripps Company (NASDAQ: SSP) has promoted John Cook to vice president and general manager for KTNV, the Scripps-owned ABC affiliate in Las Vegas, effective Sept. 3. Cook has been serving as senior director of sales for WXYZ and WMYD, the Scripps stations in Detroit, since January 2021.
