BHP Group (BHP) reported underlying attributable profit from continuing operations of 6.6billioninthefirsthalfoffiscal2024(endedDec31,2023).Thefigurewasinlinewiththeyear−agocomparableperiodasgainsfromhigherrevenues(reflectingimprovedironoreandcopperprices)anddisciplinedcostcontrolwereoffsetbyhigherinputandlaborcosts.Underlyingearningspersharewere6.6 billion in the first half of fiscal 2024 (ended Dec 31, 2023).
